This is a blog about everything in the world of geology from minerals and fossils to groundwater and nuclear waste disposal. I will be addressing the basic principles of geology and new, cutting edge research in an attempt to bring a wide spectrum of geological knowledge into the public eye. Understanding the geological processes that shape the Earth has allowed me to appreciate it more fully and I hope this blog can do the same for you.
