American Society for Cell Biology
The ASCB Post is the science news, comment, and blog page of the American Society for Cell Biology, a scientific society with 11,000 members and (since 1961) 45 winners of the Nobel Prize in Medicine or in Chemistry. The ASCB Post covers the wider world of cell biology news, health implications, science policy issues, and whatever else seems germane to research biology in the early 21st century (i.e. many things). The Post is also home to "Activation Energy," the weekly blog of ASCB Executive Director Stefano Bertuzzi, a longtime bench scientist turned NIH policy geek and now turned ASCB executive.

Antisense Science
We are Antisense Science and we are on a science mission! As a group of bioscience students from Newcastle, our aim is to remove the jargon and simplify all other manner of nonsensical things in scientific writing. We will be looking at current research and presenting it in bite-size digestible chunks, as well as summarising topics that we’re interested in and looking at science stories in the news whilst also explaining the research behind them.

Regeneration Center of Thailand
The Thai regeneration center blog includes links to current papers, protocols, and information about specialties inside the science of stem cells and regenerative medicine. Our goal is to help explain what stem cells are, the difference between embryonic and adult stem cells, the function of bone marrow and its transplantation. Other topics also include: Recent legislative, administrative and judicial actions concerning stem cell research and insight into recent developments in human stem cell lines that promise to eliminate the rejection of allogeneic transplanted cells from the patient’s immune system.

Too many live wires
A blog for all ages aiming to cast some light on the dark world inside living cells. The blog will discuss the impact of the latest cell biology research for the public and for science. It uses novel metaphors to explore scientific ideas; and will give advice to school children interested in careers in biology and mathematics. Jargon is kept to a minimum, hopefully making for an interesting and entertaining read.
