Astro Guyz
I’m originally from Mapleton, Maine, and retired from the U.S Air Force as an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist. I have been fasinated by astronomy and science since watching the last Apollo Moonshots in the early 70′s and Star Trek re-runs as a kid. I’ve owned about half a dozen telescopes, done public out reach, built my own observatory, and operated the 16-scope and the University of Arizonas’ Flandreau Observatory. I’ve also contributed variable and meteor observing data. I started this blog in response to the huge interest I see in the general public, as well as some of the mis-conceptions I’ve heard.

Computers, Science, & Computer Science
CompuScience.Net is a blog devoted to computers & science. The posts are written by me or others via their own blogs or websites. I write or choose articles that convey the fascination of science, computers, mathematics, computer science, metamathematics, physics, astronomy, cosmology – and so on. Needless to say, this is just about all the good stuff nerds & geeks are famous for. Our heroes aren’t generally sportsmen (or women) or celebrities, but the more cerebral people like Albert Einstein, Alan Turing, Emmy Noether, Rosalind Franklin, and so on.

Cosmology Science
The goal of CosmologyScience.com is to demystify Cosmology principles (and jargon) by explaining the concepts as clearly as possible – without sacrificing any accuracy. It can help you understand how to distinguish between science and science-fiction, which is useful because there are more than a few science-fiction ideas in cosmology masquerading as science. It is written for a reading level similar to Scientific American; most math is removed, the math left over you can safely ignore. For further research you should find abundant links here with references to the best available science.
